The Circuit is the information Technology association for the Greater Cincinnati tri-state region, including Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana. The Circuit a non-profit created to enhance the development of technology related companies and institutions on the greater Cincinnati area. The Circuit is a member of Ohio’s IT Alliance, a statewide network of six regional organizations with the common goal of growing and improving the competitiveness of Ohio’s information technology industry.

Young Professionals Program - World Affairs Council

The Young Professionals Program (YPP) brings together globally minded individuals (21-45) to promote a greater awareness and appreciation of international issues and their relevance to our community. The YPP achieves this through promoting international awareness, organizing social and entertainment events, conducting educational outreach, and fostering career development. International Awareness Team Keeps YPs current on developing trends and topics both globally and locally. The Committee organizes discussion groups to meet with speakers in both public and private settings. Educational Outreach Team Raises awareness of international issues and career opportunities among area college and university students. The Committee is sponsoring a “Road Show,” complete with a panel of YPs, that visits area colleges and universities, sharing their internatonal career experiences and advice Social/Entertainment Team Organizes international-oriented social events that will bring YPs together and keep them connected in ways that are both fun and unique. Career Development Team Presents opportunities to enhance the international aspect of YPs’ careers. Through various programs, the Committee presents the practical expertise and experience of local, established figures in international fields to the YPs.

American Society of Interior Designers (ASID)

ASID is a community of people driven by a common love for design and committed to the belief that interior design, as a service to people, is a powerful, multi-faceted profession that can positively change people’s lives. Through education, knowledge sharing, advocacy, community building and outreach, the Society strives to advance the interior design profession and, in the process, to demonstrate and celebrate the power of design to positively change people’s lives. Its more than 40,000 members engage in a variety of professional programs and activities through a network of 48 chapters throughout the United States and Canada. ASID inspires and enriches its members by promoting the value of interior design, while providing indispensable knowledge and experiences that build relationships. Of the Society’s 20,000 practicing interior designers, 6,500 practice primarily in the commercial field with 4,000 practicing primarily as residential designers. The remaining 9,500 work in both commercial and residential design. Professional members of ASID must pass rigorous acceptance standards: they must have a combination of accredited design education and/or full-time work experience and pass a two-day accreditation examination administered by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ).

The Society’s membership also includes more than 12,000 students of interior design. ASID has student chapters at colleges, universities and design schools with 2-year and 4-year programs throughout the U.S. and “virtual” chapters through Rhodec International and The Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online.
